"Onde di Distruzione" explores the ocean through silhouettes derived from the fluid architecture of wave formations, as they rise, crest, and break. That translated into exaggerated volumes, elongated proportions, and calculated shifts in equilibrium.
Inspired by the work of Jennifer Bell, the collection investigates using paper weaving techniques in fashion, while also exploring structure and distortion through strategic layering, wrapping, and deconstructed tailoring, mirroring the erosive power of water on organic surfaces. A monochromatic palette of tectonic greys, obsidian, and abyssal blues prioritizes material behavior over ornamentation, allowing form and texture to dictate the narrative.
The collection operates within a state of high tension, capturing garments in a moment of suspension between rigid control and total collapse.
